On Sunday, 13 September 2026 we plan to organize a parish pilgrimage to the National Shrine in Šaštíne. The solemn Mass will be celebrated by the Archbishop of Bratislava, Mons. Stanislav Zvolenský.

Although the pilgrimage cannot take place directly on the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows due to changes in laws, we want to experience it as a personal pilgrimage to our national patroness and entrust her with our families, parish, and personal intentions.

The estimated cost of transportation is 23 euros per person. Those interested can register in the sacristy of the church.

On Sunday, August 23, 2026, a pilgrimage to the Virgin Mary Queen of the Fields in Nová Ves nad Žitavou will be held. The solemn mass will be celebrated by the Apostolic Nuncio to Slovakia, His Excellency Monsignor Nicola Girasoli. A minibus will be organized from our parish for this pilgrimage. Interested individuals can register during the coming week; the cost is 7 euros per person.

Srdečne vás pozývame na farské hody, ktoré sa začnú svätou omšou v sobotu večer o 17.00 hod.

Svätú omšu bude celebrovať novokňaz pochádzajúci zo Zlatých Moraviec, Vdp. Ivan Komžík, kaplán

v Močenku. Pri svätej omši budete mať možnosť prijať novokňazské požehnanie. Pripomínam, že

tento rok prikázaná slávnosť pripadla na sobotu, a preto sú veriaci viazaní účasťou na svätej omši

tak, ako v nedeľu. Nedeľnú svätú omšu bude celebrovať Vsdp. dekan zo Šale, Ing. ThLic. Mgr. Maroš

Lovič. Svätá omša bude slávená o pol hodiny neskôr ako bývalo zvykom, teda o 10.30 hod. Aj

napriek vysokým teplotám vás povzbudzujem, aby sme prišli v krojoch a aj takýmto spôsobom

vyjadrili slávnostnejší charakter tejto svätej omše. Po svätej omši vás pozývam na malé agapé a

degustáciu vína z rodinného vinárstva, ktoré bude sprevádzať dychová hudba Skýcovanka.

Dávame do pozornosti dobročinnú výzvu, ktorá je práve aktívna na portáli ĽudiaĽuďom.sk. Cieľom tejto iniciatívy je zabezpečiť potrebné financie na skrášlenie a úpravu okolia nášho farského kostola – miesta, kde sa stretávame pri svätých omšiach, modlitbe i pietnych spomienkach.

Na sviatok svätého Štefana, v pokojné vianočné popoludnie, vás srdečne pozývame do nášho kostola na výnimočný vianočný koncert.

11. novembra 2025 organizujeme v spolupráci s Obecným úradom tretí ročník Lampiónového sprievodu so sv. Martinom, ktorý sa zakončí „Párty Všetkých svätých“ v kultúrnom dome. Podujatie sa začne o 17.30 hod. pred kostolom. Pozývame všetky deti – budeme radi, ak prídu v kostýme niektorého svätého.

In this school year, we begin preparing students for the reception of the sacrament of confirmation. Students in the seventh grade of primary school and older can register. Adults can also receive the sacrament of confirmation. Receiving this sacrament is essential for someone to become a godparent, is advisable before receiving the sacrament of marriage, but above all, it is an opportunity to deepen the Catholic faith and receive the Holy Spirit. The application form can be found on the table at the exit of the church and must be personally submitted by September 15, 2025.

I inform parents of children who are to receive their first Holy Communion in the new school year that they can take the application for their child and submit it no later than Sunday, September 7, 2025. If the child was not baptized in our parish, it is necessary to request a baptism certificate from the parish office of the place of baptism and attach it to the application.

We cordially invite you to the second Christmas concert, prepared for our parish by university students from Zlaté Moravce. The concert will take place in our church on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 4:00 PM. The program will feature sisters Cathleen and Carolin Bodo, who will enrich the festive moments with their singing, accompanied musically by Ivan Pinter. As a thank you to all the benefactors who helped with the repair of the roof of the parish church, we cordially invite you to a Christmas concert. It will take place on the second Christmas holiday – on the Feast of St. Stephen – on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The beautiful Christmas atmosphere will be brought to us by the Toman family from Topoľčany, who released a CD of Christmas songs last year. We thank you in advance and look forward to meeting all the good-willed people who contributed or helped in any way.
